Doggerel Index & Suggestions

Rockstars' Ramblings is an excellent blog with lots of little, um soundbites - actually, I'm really not sure what the blogosphere equivalent of this word is at all.

Anyway, I was going to serialise Bronze Dog's excellent series Doggerel, but he's gone ahead and stuck an index out there, which he's retroactively updating. Rather than re-invent the wheel, just go straight here for the good stuff.

My personal fave has been "Science doesn't know everything," so far, but he'll probably outstrip that one some time soon.

Find it here:

Hey Dikkii,

I, too, am enjoying this series immensely.

I'm most flattered that the Bronzer has taken on 2 of my suggestions. Even went to the trouble of emailing me personally to let me know. Legend.

2 eh?

I'm a bit jealous, he's only looked at one of mine.

"Natural", which is another one he's done recently is another of my pet peeves.

He is on a bit of a roll with this series. Let's hope that he doesn't run out of puff yet.

Finally found your blog. Nice work. Thanks for the link Adam...:-)

The Doggeral stuff looks great to me as well. I'm glad I have 12 hour night shifts this week, it looks like I've got a bit of reading to do...

G'day Ted, and thanks for dropping by.

Another series of quality reading that you should get around is Prometheus' Field Guide to Quackery and Pseudoscience.

I serialised it starting here, but it is essential reading.

When I get the chance, I'll do an index for it. It's the one thing Prometheus hasn't done.

Thanks for that Dikii, that is a very ineresting read. Mind you, so's the rest of Skeptico's blog.

This is a shameless plug, but if you're interested, I've put up Part III of science v religion and it's generated some rather interesting comments you may find ammusig...

Hi Ted,

I'm checking out your series now.

I love a good read.

I did do "People Have Believed This For Thousands of Years!" which is kind of a variation of Dikkii's suggestion of "[insert dodgy quackery here]'s worked for thousands of years."

Suggestions continue to be appreciated.

That you did, BD. And quite flattered I am too.

And quite a good one it is too.

I think you may have set the benchmark awfully high when you did Quantum.

Not sure how you're going to top this.
